This morning, as I start to work on, and consider the outcomes for the Laura Ashley editorial aspect of the brief, I decided to look for existing Laura Ashley in house catalogue designs and covers.
I found, as with previously examples I have sourced and researched, that the designs, despite the heritage and longevity of the brand, that the design has pretty strictly been unchanged throughout the years, and, when it comes to my own interpretation of the design, I hope to remain faithful to this, yet add the own twist and imagery of the brand surface pattern collection, as designed by collaborative design partner, Steph Lawson.
