This afternoon, having previously worked on the design development, I produced a test print (to scale) of the proposed envelope branded stationary for the La Petit Macaron brief, and was really pleased with the finished result.
As an elongated DL design, the unusual shape has a unique and boutique feel, emulating the shape of both the macaron boxes and bags throughout the packaging design. Initially, I was worried that the polka dots might be a little too large and almost too playful, and not "high end" enough, but I think, in this scenario, they work quite well, and add an element of character and cheekiness to an otherwise quite simple yet elegant design.
Definitely need to print from Uni though... a very drained off green/blue colour is being produced from my printer... need more mint!
