FMP | Yearbook Group Meeting

This morning, all the yearbook groups had the opportunity to come together to discuss the progress of our individual projects, as well as having the opportunity to see what one another are up to.

Written below, are notes from the meeting, and the consequent, following meeting with the Printed Textile group afterwards, to discuss our current design development and individual progress.

NOTES

* Have contact details by next week (Wednesday).
* All copy ready by the end of Easter.
* Exploring layout and concept development by Friday next week.
* All layout complete and signed off by Easter.
* Keep all images consistent, same day, same studio.
* Check contact details from students.
* Have all body copy ready by WEDNESDAY. All content needs to be signed off for accuracy.
* If students are not there on the day, they're DROPPED.
* Put all Digital Print test prints on the Printed Textiles tab.

PRINTED TEXTILES GROUP MEETING

* Come together to look at editorial layouts (AM).
* Explore different outcomes - photography, print making, marbling... difficult to express work of printed textiles without creating an over - arching visual.
* Nature of work is quite abstract - perhaps keep the layout quite minimal to ensure it doesn't look too messy? A minimal, graphic, scrapbook - emphasis on photographic imagery.

DEADLINES

* Next concept meeting on Monday.
* Have all student contact info by next Wednesday.
* Concept and layout defined by Wednesday.
