FMP | Steph Laura Ashley Design Development II

www.sl-lawson1013fmp.blogspot.co.uk

More design developments from my collaborative design partner, Steph, today, for the hypothetical Laura Ashley S / S 2013 Home Interiors Collection (Horticultural) brief, in which we have decided to select a pink and purple colour palette to document drawings of British flowers.

In her watercolour repeat pattern drawings, Steph has combined lilacs, iris', pansies (and a combination of the three flowers) in various forms which make for beautifully diverse, intricate, and yet structured patterns that I feel, with a minimal and selective colour palette, would look wonderful in our proposed situ of the living room environment.

Over the next couple of days and weeks I will be developing and finalising the print and brand media for the range, particularly looking and both web and print - based editorial and promotional design for the Horticultural Collection range itself.

Really liking Steph's work, and hopefully it'll receive good feedback in the next crit session.
