FMP | Minimalist Design

-

Continuing with the research development for my Design Context publication, as part of the Final Major Project brief collection and module submission, I have gone on to extend my research to minimalist design.

With a background and design portfolio heavy in conceptually driven, vector - based illustrative and brand design, minimalism, to me, feels like a natural interest, and one that I see portrayed not only throughout my work, but in my day-to-day life, and throughout various aspects of my design tastes.

For me, and the publication, I think the sub-cahpter on minimalist design will be one of the most fascinating, with a wealth of variation, with both illustrative and typographic design, covering a wide range of design specialist fields (editorial, promotional, illustrative, etc.).

The images shown and sourced on this page are some of the select examples gathered throughout my past month's research on my Tumblr blog. If images do go on to be used in my Design Context publication, they will, of course, be appropriately and responsibly referenced and sourced throughout.
