FMP | Measure Yearbook Cover Proposals

More quick proposals for a concept for consideration for the Yearbook cover design, particularly in the light of team designer, Claudia Griffin, directing me to a link for last year's Fine Art book, which has a spiralled paint design, a little marble- like, so this may potentially be something we'd want to avoid, though I'm sure will still be discussed in our next meeting, tomorrow.

Although very crude, and would need visual refinement, these designs were inspired by the ruler pencil (www.kickstarter.com/projects/brandnewbox/ruler-pencils-a-brilliant-idea-invented-by-a-kid), and the idea of measuring success, of which the course boasts some wonderful examples of, with the second ruler design also showcasing the graduating year (2013). Again, the design would be quite simple, but hopefully really let the content of the publication do they talking, with the design and reputation produced from the course speaking for itself.

My main concern about these designs is the lack of colour. Although bold, I feel that the course, and in particular, Duncan's, passion for colour should be evident in the design.
