Continuing on with the gathering of contextual research, and transferring pre-sourced images and contextual design from my Tumblr blog to showcase and to therefore, be able to go on to select the most appropriate examples of design within the context of the chapters of my own Design Context publication.
Throughout my own practice, applied branding and packaging design is perhaps the most significant aspect of my practice, and something that I feel passionately that I want to pursue throughout my own personal and professional practice upon graduation. In this sub-category / chapter, I believe there will be a great deal of variety and visual interest, ranging from food and make up packaging to brand stationary, and to advertising and promotional campaigns.
Throughout the next few blog posts I hope to explore this range and versatility within the specialism of branding, and when it comes to developing my Design Context publication (which I hope to begin putting together in the next couple of days), I feel sure that I will have a great selection of projects to choose from and work with to support my research.
