Garden Party Invitation Kit

This afternoon I spent some time researching wedding invitations to start developing my contextual knowledge and concept - development for the branding and print - based collateral for the Hannah Crowson Wedding Planner brief.
Throughout the examples (sourced for portfolio-sharing site, Behance), I chose designs which I felt particularly reflected Hannah's feminine, quirky and upcycled style, with a use of diverse materials, textures and colours which I felt were an appropriate colour palette to suit the concepts beginning to develop for the brand collateral, and to visually communicate Hannah's own practice and portfolio.
The brief and deliverables that I particularly like are from the 'Get Hitched' project by Charlotte Fosdike (see project at the bottom of the page), which uses a creative blend of stocks, patterns, materials, and an elegant and unique typeface for a classic serif look, but still maintaining a sense of quirkiness and originality, also using creative die and folding techniques throughout the range of printed collateral.
Some really beautiful designs, I look forward to experimenting with the conceptual and design development for Hannah's business over the next couple of days and weeks.
