Yesterday, after our Geek Table meeting and discussion (and wanting to explore the potential of our portfolio and exhibition outcomes further before starting the design process), Lisa very fortunately found a link to an exhibition at The White Cloth Gallery, currently being held by students at Leeds Metropolitan University as a response to their event 'The Rendezvous', with a range of activities and "socially intimate situations".
Hopefully we'll get an opportunity to go down in the next couple of days and to be able to experience the exhibition for the inspiration of our own showcase, and to be able to see the White Cloth, once more, with work in context. Also, I hope that this may give me the opportunity to talk to events organiser, Annie, face-to-face, and hopefully provide a more instantaneous solution to our proposal to use the gallery space for our own event, and be able to become more than a "cold caller" through email.
