Visiting Laura Ashley's fashion link from their website, having developed a stronger fashion line in more recent years thanks to now being (through the majority shareholders) owned by the company that also controls Uniqlo Clothing.
Although the clothing range is still true to the elegant femininity and Britishness of the Laura Ashley range, in contrast to the homeware items of their printed textiles and surface pattern range, their designs are certainly far more low - key and wearable as clothing and accessory items, as shown in a couple of the examples, and screenshots, below.
This will certainly be something to take into consideration for both Steph and I when creating our own designs, taking inspiration from all aspects of the Laura Ashley brand and product deliverable range to demonstrate a modern and contemporary reflection of the brand.
