FMP | Elle Website




Originally cited, in the last module, where we worked on, and developed her own personal print-based branding, Elle Magazine, and it's online website, were regarded as a particular source of inspiration for Jessie and what she hopes to achieve from an online web-based design.

Very clean and minimal, the feminine and elegant style of the magazine is effortlessly translated over to the magazine with splashes of colour and common use of photographic imagery to maintain it's glossy and high-impact visuals and to, of course, be eye-catching, and absorb the reader, encouraging them to spend more time on the site.

The horizontal navigation bar is clear and easy to use, and represents the sort of layout I hope to achieve with Jessie's own online website portfolio, perhaps keeping it even more simple, and really letting the photographic work do the talking.
